It’s about the experience okay. I’ll admit whataburger is average for taste but it’s also the gathering spot for late night food. Many nights growing up ended at whataburger.

I'm also typing this one handed because of a fight I lost with a table saw today. First real job site injury I've had in 15 years and the second ever.

Good news is I still have all my fingers. Bad news is my middle finger got sawed right down the middle and then slightly to the left of the fingernail. That basically cut the distal bone in 1/2 then almost off. My ring finger just got chewed up bad. The ER doc and nurse where rad. We joked a lot and they where both blown away my BP was 132/84. lol

I'll have at least the next 10 days off of work. I'll post up some photo's in a bit for those of you that like carnage.

 

Yeah its good. I am not going out of my way tho. Wife loves it. And I get it about the gathering spot. Wait till youre 21 and its a dive bar.

Are they gonna put you in physical therapy once it starts healing?

 

I don't think PT will be needed. There's no tendon damage. There's not really anything a hand surgeon can do with the distal bones since they are so small. They tend to heal well on there own if given the time. The main things will be how will the distal bone reforms and how much damage I did to the nail bed.

 

Hmmm, curious what kind of GTii movement we could get if you actually lost a finger or 2

The middle finger is so cut up I was able to move the tip around. Like one piece to the left and the other chunk to the right. Like I said, the Doc and nurse and I had a lot of fun laughing at the damage. Once I was numbed up of course. They actually had to do a nerve block on both fingers. That was the most painful shot I've ever had. Twice. I guess when it wears off in an hour I'm gonna be in a lot of pain. Luckily, I got some hydrocodone to go along with the antibiotics.

If GTiii keeps moving up Monday I'll think about just asking them to remove the tip of my middle finger. I could actually go back to work faster that way. lol

 

No joke about the shot. Sliced the shit out of my left thumb one time. The damn shot they gave me before stitching it up was the worst part.

Picked up some PATH stock ... this is long hold but should easily double over the next decade. Makes time consuming forms 80% faster with auto fill in the blanks .

 

Hopefully GTii goes up enough you only go back to work for fun.

Yep. I literally gave flesh, blood, bone and keratin to the movement. I also just flipped a coin. Heads was free him. Tails was fucking let him rot.
