Ps ,
I did some patterning and penetration testing with 410 shells in a 6” barrel judge . Birdshot / buck / the special self defense loads ...

Long story short if you wanna kill something (or one) better use the 45 colt .

results super iffy with 410 .

even for snakes , I could beat the pattern with a hand loaded 45colt shot shell . Gave up a touch of energy and weight of shot charge but at least it patterned


I’d also add , it was hella unreliable shooting double action with any speed . Lots of light strikes
