    Slowly learning to read music, tab is fairly easy and what I concentrate on the most.
    Playing by ear, not so much. I manage to get about 15-30 minutes a day of practice, usually just doing the scales.

    Guitar Center has these box sets for $8 Clearance. Two sets of strings, string cutter, and humidifier. Pretty epic deal. Went there for some strings and saw them and snagged a bunch.

    There's one literally walking distance from me. I like going to the smaller mom and pop shops though like Elderly Instruments. Was getting some stuff in the shopping area, so ran in.

    Speaking of GC, they where pretty sparse as far as used went.

    I kinda miss the days of finding used stuff. Everything is gonna cost you some bucks now.

    Glad I got my Taylor. She's beat up, full of dings, and beer stains and still sounds and plays great. I honestly play acoustic 95% of the time. I blame summer nights.

    I'm the same, the Korean I think are better. When I brought my Guild Parlor home and saw it was made in China I was a bit disappointed.

    Sucks about the hold. Hope it settles soon.
