    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

    Too busy taking shots huh?

    Really?

So, who's taking shots? But somehow, in this upside down thread, I'll be the asshole. Right?

(P.S. I don't think he'll even see this, but whatever)

For the record though... I'd sell my truck and buy a Ford before I'd put Jerry's stuff on my truck.

I'm too cheap... I do it to myself.. doan'cha'no

If you need it, hit me up on PM.

I'd HIGHLY suggest the Low Range Offroad skid over stock. But if you want this one I can see about mailing it out to you.

I'm glad I live on the West Coast, and don't have to deal with all the Salt on the roads, like many.
I'm 17 years in (not bragging at all), ownership of my truck, and am just now beginning to deal with slight rust flakes, living on the West Coast.
Slow but sure, I've been going over every inch of the underside, cleaning, pressure washing, and undercoating, for the next 10+years.

No worries... you know you're always welcome. I know it's a bit of a drive. We'll see how tomorrow goes, I may go up and do an easy (really easy) Sunday drive on fire roads... I'll want to do a little bit of break in on my front diff, if I finish it tomorrow. (doing Larry's bumper first though)

New OEM Toyota Lower Ball Joints Installed today.
Lower Ball Joints changed at 243254 miles. Got toyota OEM from http://toyotapartsdeal.com .
The install it self gone well at my mechanics.
It gone bad after we started taking apart the right side 2 of the bolts broke while we they were hitting the assembly with the giant hammer to loosen it.
1 of the bolts was already broken from before and portion stuck in the hub.
Boy did it suck drilling that out and then as we started to tap a new thread the tap got stuck solid in there.
So we welded a nut to it and got the tap out. Anyways. Everything after that gone smooth and worked out.
Now driving on the new LBJoints.
After that gone to my alignment shop and had it realigned.

    @SiberianTacos

    What he said.

If your mechanic let that leave his shop with that bolt not fully seated, you need to: go there and have a shout fest with him; and then never go back.

He should have checked the torque on them so no way he should have missed that not being seated. I can understand that the bolt was in a socket, the bolt bottoms out, the tool sound changes, he thinks it's seated and tight. But, when he hit it with a torque wrench, which he should have for a LBJ, he would have seen it.

So, not only did he likely not check torque, he sent you out the door with a very risky condition on a part that can fail catastrophically.

Don't get excited boys, it's not for a 1st gen. The drain plug hole is on the wrong side.
