I've been shooting the 10/22 for about 18 years and besides FNH's new FNAR .308 this is still my all time favorite firearm. I've owned several and used them mostly for rabbit and squirrel as far as hunting but do a lot of fun plinking with my old man.

This is my current set up
    [IMG]

Collapse able stock with pistol grip (I hate this thing its for aesthetic reasons only and has no purpose besides being really cold in the winter months, going to try and pick up something from MagPul, TacSol, or Hogue soon)

    Bushnell red dot sight

Tactical Solutions tac rail scope mount + 25 round magazine (I'm partial to the standard 10 round magazine that comes with it).

A lot of my buddies are into the heavy barrel and over molded stocks, bi-pods but those are all bench shooters and seem pretty heavy 10+lbs? I've heard you cannot shoot Stingers through the .920 barrels, or it's not recommended?

I'm shooting mini mags, Stingers and standard federal .22 lr

If anyone has some cool 10/22 stuff for sale.......

Now lemme see what you've got

If you want a trick 10/22, I would recommend checking out SMOS Arms. A friend of mine works there. The pictures just don't do the guns justice, but here are a couple.

Foglights are for fog, not oncoming traffic!
Mine is almost identical to Primerinmyshoe, except I got the sporter profile fluted barrel.
Gonna take it out this weekend.

here is my 10/22. My grandad gave it to me when I was 13. This has been my favorite gun out of all the guns ive ever owned.
Ive had 3 or 4 different stocks on this thing. Right now I have a dragunov stock on it. All the internals are still factory parts, but I have done a little trigger work on it.

I bought a simmons 3-9X50 scope for it and it was a great upgrade from what i had before.

I really wanna upgrade a few things on it. the barrel and stock first, then a few internal parts

I will have to post some pictures. I have my dads 10/22 from 1964. Bone stock it is a tack driver. I added a bull barrel and a Hogue molded over stock. Shoots about the same, still a tack driver. Best part about the Ruger, takes about 5 minutes to put it back to stock. Don't have the original box but still have the receipt and manual.

Guns aren't necessarily pretty, but that thing is gorgeous. I built a couple of whistle pig guns in Boise much like Primmers', but without the adjustable buttplate. They're heavy for tramping a day in the desert, but if you can lay the crosshairs on your target, there will be a hole in it.
