I did Bilstein with a lifetime warranty and my factory warranty is not affected in any way. In fact Toyota dealerships use this company for all their installs. We're only talking a set of shocks. Your warranty is not affected by changing the shocks and adding a block. But it is what it is, enjoy!

I paid about $372.00 (including shipping) for the four TRD shocks, $56.00 for a rear 2" block lift with longer U-bolts, $172.00 for the ECGS bushing with oil seal and bushing remover/installer & oil seal installer, and probably a future $100.00 or so for a front end alignment.

$700.00 and that's it. Because I'm supplying all the labor myself.

I'll sell my off road shocks for cheap once I install everything. Only 18K on them, they have to be worth something.

Thats CRAZY high for some 5100's
I paid $430 for my TRD lift shocks, 80 for rear 1" block and 60 for my ECGS bushing.
So it seems I paid $570 for some 5100's like you call them for my full lift. Diff drop is useless

How many more times are you gonna post you think its overpriced for the shocks when in reality it isnt

    Agreed.

Parts & Labour on the 2 front 5100's, plus 1" rear blocks, and alignment is a hell of a lot cheaper than the OEM kit itself, before you even include the labour & alignment.

AND the warranty is longer....... NO brainer :muscleflexing:

I'm sorry, that was parts, labor and tax. $1400 for my TRD 4Runner SEMA wheels and Toyo open country at and got a deal on those as well.

Picked my kit up Friday and installed yesterday. Had also picked up another set of stock rims with 265/75r16 Wildpeaks mounted up a few months ago so I threw them on yesterday as well. Loving the new look!

Seeing all these Army Green trucks lifted makes me wish my truck would get here faster!:) Might have to do some shopping around for the lift kit though - my dealer quoted me $1800cdn for the lift w/o install. What have others from Canada paid for their kit?

For the complete kit with install, sensor calibration and alignment I paid $2400 before taxes. I’m in Abbotsford.

I had the dealer order the lift kit along with my truck. Unfortunately they didn’t break it down on my invoice and I didn’t question it.

Also peeping some new headlights and tires. It's amazing what this lift can do to the aesthetics of the truck.

Was going to get this but my local and only Toyota dealer wanted $2950 for everything. I might just do 5100s or eibach now.

Agreed. That’s too F’n much. I went this route because I could do it for like $500 (shocks only, AAL and self install). If they quoted me that much I’d def be doing 5100s

I finally got my TRD shocks installed by a local off-road shop. I did a 1" lift in the front and is still stock height in the rear.
It now sits dead level - even if pic makes truck look a little high in the front. The shocks cost me $427 including tax and shipping. The installation cost me $397 which included tax, a tire alignment and I also had them relocate the rear diff breather higher up in the fender.
I absolutely love the results, and rides way better. I'm so glad I did it.
