Those are by far the best wheels for this color truck. If my PM had lower miles I would have those wheels. In late 2015 I tried my best to find your exact truck new in an access cab with zero luck. I then waited for and bought the new 2016 Sport access cab. After 5.5 years, and 25k miles, I sold the 16 and bought a used 12 PM access cab, with alot more miles on it, so it is now just a budget build. No regrets but I sure wish I could have found a truck like yours new. I just waited to late to start searching. You have an awesome looking rig. 2nd gen is the best gen (to date).

Ran the positive to the battery with an inline fuse, then opened up the wire loom in the A pillar and found the blue wire. Tapped the negative into that blue wire since that is a switched ground that only comes on with the doors open or when you unlock the truck. The lights don’t come on when the dome light is in the ON position and only on the door position. Perfect for courtesy lights.

Brilliant. I have a few boxes of those LEDs. I originally wanted to put them under the door panel but considering how well yours turned out, I think I might do the mirrors instead lol. What size fuse did you use? All the fuse inlines I have run blade types.

This mod has been on the back burner for a while but now I might tackle it next week seeing yours :D. Great job by the way.

After $1600 in bent wheels and ripped tire beads I finally have my wheels and tires worked out. 17x8.5 Method MR312 with a set of Kenda Klever 33/10.5r17 with a matching spare.

No I bought molded from stock interiors. They leave waaaaay too much on the sides and front and back. Im just too crazy about things like this to not of have bought oem. It turned out great but all I see is the flaws

It was very easy. Probably took me 15-20 minutes and that was mostly just taking my time to not mess anything up.

Changed oil yesterday, chasing an intermittent electrical issue causing a dead woofer in my driver front component set. I reestablished the connection at the crossover network (the old fork connector was a little snug, might not have been a good connection) and checked the speaker itself. We’ll see where that goes.

Stuck at home for a while, wife and daughter both have Covid so I’m playing nurse. I’m asymptomatic a week after exposure thankfully.

If you want a bit more security remove the console and either loctite the bolts that hold the mount strap in place or swap them for security bolts. They are under the carpet OUTSIDE OF THE CONSOLE FOOTPRINT. Anybody willing to break glass could easily make two slits in the carpet and yank the entire console.
