    Okay, that makes sense. Just out of curiosity, once you get the last bolt undone, the engine will want to "snap back" so I presume you have to do something to keep it angled down. What do you use to do that?

    Mine were replaced just before I bought the truck, but I don't know what brand was used.

    Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
    Was doing a weekly inspection of the engine bay and noticed the front diff breather hose was very oily. It wasn't like this last week. Is this a sign of a problem or just a little too much fluid in the diff?

    I have 180k on the truck and last filled the front diff at 120k. I need to do the fluids again (I've done the diffs and transfer case every 60k) but I can't until spring when it warms up.

    Just want to make sure this isn't a warning sign of a potential problem.
