A recent changes in the rules does not allow non-Pro folks to buy Credits any longer. If you still have four leftover, you can certainly use them for that purpose. You would also need the tunes for his Taco.

Are the credits used to unlock another ECU?

Costco gas for the win fellas. If I wasn't a member I don't think I would've done the premium tune. Their 93 is .15$ more than their 87, and the 87 is the cheapest in town. I'm paying the same or less for 93 than I'd get 87 for at most gas stations

There is more to gas than octane. Cheap high octane is no guarantee of quality gas. Techron and other top tier additives have real advantages. And real costs.

It's all C6H6 to me brother. That Kirkland brand fuel is getting the job done with great results

I was just reading up on that.

We have both Sam's and Costco in town. The current local spread between regular and premium is .30 at both stations. Much less than $.60-.80 at the rest of the gas stations in town.
Costco is TOP TIER gas, Sam's is not.
I used Sam's for a bit years ago but stopped going there because I suspected I was getting bad gas.

    For what it's worth.

    Cheers to a job done.

I can usually tell the fuel people use in their Tacoma by the sound of the fuel pump front passenger side during idle.

I've seen that label also but honestly I don't have a clue what kind of standard "top tier" is or what it represents.

Anecdotally the fuel seems to run well in the truck and I'm very satisfied with the value.

It is 100% easier if you hit the Quote button. :D

Yes. That is the only use for Credits at the moment.

I sort of agree with you. But, 10yrs back Chevron / Techron was the shit. Never had to use FI cleaner with it. My current guess is that the Top Tier label is everyone that caught up with Techron or was shared. So, Costco for the Top Tier and price win.

It chirps and squeaks at idle.
