Cousin came by and got fuel in his truck. Said he just picked his tractor up, had to have a new hydraulic pump. Are Farmtracs all over or just parts of the country? My dad had one about 40hp and sold it last year.

I’ve seen the 2 chain way, but I went 4. Overkill perhaps, but I was hauling it 1500kms across the country in March. The trans Canada is bad at the best of times, a national shame some might say. But throw in some frost heaves and rail crossings, I felt the more chains the better. Lots of slack with a 16 foot chain on all 4 corners, but I wrapped it around the ends of the ratchets in a figure 8 pattern, and used some heavy zip ties to join the links of the loose ends to the tightened chain. Gave everything a checking over at the gas stops, and arrived safe at destination with everything intact.

I could use one of those. We need to put in a dog run. Partly because our shepherd (god love him, he’s beautiful but not bright) will take off after a bumble bee, and be gone forever. And partly because the neighbours dog is a complete lunatic that we need to keep our dogs safe from.

    More speed!!!

There are times when that ''sinking feeling'' means more than that feeling in your stomach.
