DRL Plug Extensions for Raptors?

    Hey guys! I bought a grill from Tacovinyl and want to wire int he raptor lights to the DRL. Here's the thing though, I hate the idea of messing with a perfectly good wire and using a tap. Anyone know where i can buy the ends or maybe extensions that I can use to tap into instead? I'm not really sure of the names or even where to even look. This grill also has the turn signal and DRL built into it so I would need the DRL and Turn Signal plugs

    Halogen headlights have an above board option:

    And I also have made a few for specific people here and there, sometimes for LED equipped trucks which I can justify since there's no product on the market for that but I think I've done one or two pure T taps for DRL's on halogen trucks. I do not wish to take away any business from r4t though and I'm more than swamped at the moment with too many projects but if the r4t harness doesn't work for your specific grille because of the connectors, I can marry things up.

    Check the rapture headlight harness thread in my signature for an idea, the parts are mostly the same, just no OEM LED conversion to it and of course I don't charge as much as I do for the full conversion harness.

    I have drl mirrors and grill lights on my 18 sport. Im confident in my splicing skills but I got 60k+ miles left on my bumper to bumper so would like to not void that warranty so If I could make a harness instead for $20 or so would rather go that route. I have a box full of relays I could use as I seen in caribe makaira post on another page after I left this one earlier. BUT being simple as tapping blue and green wire to a relay and having everything needed but factory connectors I could skip and be done in 20 minutes....very inviting, I'm drinking beer and bored. Lil red guy on my shoulder tempting me....

    Speaking of not voiding warranty, on JBL factory sub input wire do you know where I could find that 4 pin male/female connector ? I've seen some online attached to yellow video line to go behind head unit. I'd love to have a short harness there to do some experimenting with. I feel could get more out of this amp if wired differently or something but there too much conflicting info on it

    Yeah if you have a crimper already then order up from Corsa. 14 gauge on the female side and 18 gauge on the make. Get some 18 TXL and double crimp one side and you have your T. Solder in diodes and done.

    I seen that but I put in part numbers for my second question about sub harness and nothing pulled up. Thought maybe a different supplier

    Ah, sorry, you are the threadjacker :) Yeah, that's the harder part, from Toyota's part number finding the manufacturer's part # requires some hunting.

    Well those are wire taps... I had no other option. I would love to get some turn signal harnesses and replace them if they are out there, but I opted for the easier way out haha

    The problem with t-taps is they can move, if not secured, while driving and can sever the wires. And being unsealed also allow moisture to enter the wires and corrode them.
