Planning on changing some things with my exhaust. Should I go with an entirely new exhaust, or just a muffler and have someone put it on.

:notsure: that's a real good question. I like the OEM one.

I have seen a few speak of remarkable results from decreasing pipe size, to 2.25 all the way through. I'm leaning toward a new system from dirtyseeds but it's only a thought at this point. Most folks suggest minimal to no improvements while others say otherwise. It's hard for me to make an informed decision

Unless you want noise, just leave it alone. The 3.5 sounds like poop, but oddly people like poop

Youtube Tacoma exhausts and see if you like the sound.

Personally they sound like an off balance washing machine and stock is best.

We have a 50 series one one of our Tacomas and it sounds nice and deep, no drone. Its really nice for my son who owns it as it fits his age, me one the other hand I have the trd pro exhaust and love it. You Tube is a help but can give false sounds as it would sound entirely different in person.
