What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Has anyone put this on their truck? If you have, any issues?

 

Those are cool. What brand are they? I'd like to find them on Amazon.

was going to work in the garage, but 90 degrees in a semi-enclosed uninsulated building didn't sound fun.

so i finished out the dome lights i've been working on for the last few months.




it's a good first step at least. have some other ideas for 'invisible' interior lighting on order that i want to try.

 

Nice truck. I'd recommend one of those bug shields to help with those rock chips. Certainly saved my tail a few times traveling around rural Mississippi.

 

I went with the second, I’m going to take measurements tomorrow to see what the net gain was. I’ll keep you posted

 

recently added the sokietech no drill hood struts

 

Grabbed a pair from Amazon. Work great so far.

 

Checked my air and cabin filters to see if the dealership did their job… guess what… Good job Big Island Toyota, you always disappoint…

If you can get it off Amazon, get yourself the K&N cabin filter. Have one in my truck and wash it out about once a quarter for good measure.

 

I’ll hook you up tomorrow if no one else does in the mean time… I have it on the verticals and across the bottom. With my roll up tonneau I get nearly zero dust in the bed which is amazing as we have extremely fine volcanic dust…

I agree Bug deflector for the hood.

 

Finally put RSI SMart cap together, its definitely a two man operation and a 3 man to put on truck. This totally looks bad ass and is functional with the opening on the side windows.

 

Im going tomorrow to get mine serviced ,thats a great thing to be aware of , sorry they shafted you

 

Looks good. Ya know Rigid makes some 3" D series brackets so your lights won't be upside down. Had them on a 19 Tundra on a C4 Hybrid bumper and they worked like a champ. I'm just ocd like that.
