    I like em! They have so many Mud Terrains in their line now. Street and Comp. These are the regular Baja Boss MTs.

    Power steering leak seems to be coming from the inlet on the pump. I've cleaned and checked for leaks over the last couple days and tightened up everything that seemed to be the culprit. It just isn't sealing well as it only uses the one bolt off to the side. I tightened it up as well.

    My man. I looked it up and could only find the pump as an assembly without the union.. and no individual parts.

    So idk which one it is. The union, the seat, or the o-ring itself. I'd probably just replace all 3.

    I’d wager it’s just the O ring. Box set from Harbor Fright could have a replacement or it may not.

    Got the new upper control arms in this morning.. man what a difference. That passenger side was toast. The arm itself was completely separated from the steel bushing sleeves that are pressed into the arm. The driver side was still good. Replaced both and went back to factory rubber bushings. Much better ride, they're quieter, and if they wear out.. it only takes me about an hour to swap them both in.

    Next up is new shocks as it appears I blew the passenger side (It's leaking oil everywhere). I'll probably go with some nicer drop shocks this go around.

    Also need to have the power steering pump checked out. it's less than a year old and whining. Topped off the fluid (with atf) and letting it cycle. But I think it might be going out again.

    @XPOTRPR

    Weird that the power steering pump would die so soon. On my 99 Taco mine started whining and a guy showed me something I thought was completely stupid. He took about 2’ of a 2x4” board and placed one end on the pulley. Then hit it as hard as he could 3-4 times with a 2# shop hammer. Fired up the truck and it ran smooth again. Lasted for many more years before puking the bearings out. But even then I drove it another 300 miles or so home.

    Hahaha. Shit I'll try it! I thought maybe I burned it up with my slow leak. It eventually purged all the power steering fluid (atf) and one day leaving work it just started acting up. Topped it off, clean all residual fluids and grime off everything, degreased, washed off everything I could get to. After I was done and let it all dry.. went for a drive.. and seems much happier. I'll keep an eye on it and try that before I go to the shop for a replacement.

    Got the replacement o-ring in the PS pump inlet union yesterday. The old one was dry and broke apart. The new one seemed small. It doesn't fully fill the groove. Repositioned the hose clamp and re-tightened as well. Cleaned the shit out of everything and didn't see anything this morning. Drove it to work and back today and just got home and see it seeping from the union again. I'm not sure if it's the mis-fitting o-ring or the union itself. Going to find a larger o-ring at work and try that first this week. Otherwise.. I'm going to look into a replacement pump. Although.. if the Union is the culprit.. that doesn't come with a new pump.

    It almost appears that the pump is seeping from the seams...

    its really just a nuisance.. I hate the drip spots. lol

    its definitely better though. A better fitting O-ring might do the trick.
