Thanks for all the assistance ladies and gents. Waiting upon loan approval, I found a SUPER clean 2002 Silver Taco, SR5 TRD 4x4 Manual with only 43,000 miles for $14,400. Loan is pending!

I actually passed on the deal. The guy I was buying form and I sat down to start doing paperwork and I told him that I noticed online it said TRD but there were not stickers on it. I simply asked him if he knew if it had the TRD package or not. He replied with "If it doesnt have the stickers, then it's not TRD. If you pass on this vehicle because it doesnt have the TRD package, you're an idiot". With that being said, I told him word for words, "Awesome, have a great day" and walked out the door. Not because of the TRD but his approach. I ended up with my second choice. A 2000 Toyota Taco SR5 TRD V6 Manual with 100,000 for 10,2. I actually am more satisfied with this truck than I think i might have been with the '02.

~ most would never belive how some dealers treat their salesmen. Having grown up with a parent in the business I got to see the ugly side when our local Mom and Pop Toyota Dealer got bought out by the big $$$$ conglomerate. Not that your sales guy wasnt a Crapweasel ~ It sounds like he was, but often times the environment and how the sales guys are treated from above will bleed thru to the customer.

I'd like to think that NO salesman at a Mom and pop dealer would have ever treated a customer like that.
