I have always disliked listening to the radio and I guess my youth gave me the means to do so. I ignored the stereo in my first car and pretty sure I used some sort of CD/tape alternative at the time (I don't recall which).

We've had Pandora premium for an embarrassing amount of years now. Remember Yahoo music? Probably no one does, but I had that as well back in the day. When I was in middle school, I'd sit and record tapes or late night talk shows and listen to them on my way to and from school then just rinse and repeat.

I am having connection issues right now with my stereo and android auto though so I will sometimes listen to the radio now. It's really an attempt to ignore my rage against my truck and phone when it happens so I don't lose my shit:anonymous:

@SRH , I understand your pride, and butterflies regarding those fights. And win or lose those fellas are true warriors.
My younger brother who had never been in a scuffle or raise his voice let alone a fist decided to join a boxing club in Lincoln Nebraska. At his first and only fight, the coach told me he was a little concerned about my brother because he always seems to hold back as afraid to hurt someone. I told his coach when that bell rings I don't think you'll have to worry. Brother and I discussed the fight a little beforehand and I told him my thoughts about how it would go down. It did exactly as I suspected and my little brother first knocked him down then a TKO in like a minute 35 seconds of the first round. Heavyweights.
My brother looks up to me as pretty damn good as I'm sure many little (younger) brothers do.

therapy wont fix it, but mebbe help it, so, as i was going thru my knee replacement therapy, i axed the therapist, bout my slight/small tear in my shoulder, so it is my left shoulder, he had me stand straight, feet below my shoulders, grab a door jamb, with my left hand-arm, fully extended, and around 3 inches elevated from my should, so basically, im standing in the hallway, in this position, and gently turn my neck and head away from my left shoulder, werks DAMN well for me. a nudder tidbit, do not get cuff surgery, if you dont have a recliner, as you wont be able to sleep. all spoken from experience, as i had a fall, and ripped that bitch right off, on my right shoulder, and had to have surgery....

My swallows came back a few weeks ago and rebuilt their nest (on our front porch). Thankfully these ones are more accommodating to us lounging around because we have a second nest on our back porch and they're way more skittish.

I know I am. In fact I heard it so often I still remember the lyrics to this day. I remember the hours I spent lying on my bed with my cassette recorder trying to capture all my favorites off the radio without the stupid DJ talking and ruining it. That was the pioneer days of pirating.

I subscribe to Apple Music. It works really well with my Tacoma integrated iPhone. I just mash the button on the steering wheel and tell Siri what to play. The good old days sucked. I love our new technology.

That's how my phone should be working with Android Auto, but I have an aftermarket stereo we put in and something about the my phone+app+stereo is causing it to randomly disconnect and reconnect intermittently with USB.

I can actually just connect via Bluetooth and let the music be all hunky dory but then I lose my map integration and I just get pissed off that everything isn't working as intended.
