it does say that. I checked the voltage at the plug and it’s within 10% of 120VAC so I’m good to go.

because they don’t want idiots to plug it into an undersized cheap ass power cord and start a fire. If they straight up say no power cords that eliminates the moron from taking liberty with a statement that the cords are acceptable. I wired up my shop with 20 amp commercial outlets and the reel is 12AWG.

You mean the 24ga 20 foot extension cord from the dollar store isn't good enough?

nice! Yeah even if the temp doesn’t go down that much for me, the benefit of the lower humidity is well worth it. Plus it keeps tools from rusting. I’m a happy camper :D

With my background I was thinking more like this. So far nothing has burned down

I want to do a mini. Split but I’m out of room in my panel. I already put a sub panel in as well but can’t use the mini split and weld at the same time so no point. I’ll insulate the ceiling this winter and hope that’ll help

who knew rivnuts were so much fun. Probably went a little overboard, but I made some brackets to hold my trans cooler in, and used the rivnuts to put threads in the thin brackets

They come in handy from time to time. You just have to be sure that the metal you're attaching too is strong enough to hold what ever you're trying to mount. If they tear through the sheet metal, it becomes a PITA to repair.

We used to have the Jr. West Coast mirrors ripped off our ambulances from time to time. First time, they were fixed with rivnuts. Second time the mechanics used toggle bolts and fender washers. They didn't want to spend the time taking the door apart.
