Dumb question incoming: curious if 3rd and 2nd gen bumpers can technically be mounted and it’s just the body lines that don’t quite line up

 

I believe so. To be honest, with how Scotty builds his bumpers, there’s a good chance that you could buy a crossmember from him and the main bumper would bolt right up. His bumpers are 2 piece design with a crossmember that bolts to the frame, and the winch plate and bumper bolt to that. Wouldn’t surprise me too much if the only difference he has is the crossmember

 

If you could make it bolt up to a '98 I'd be interested...

(Yes, I know that 1st gens are like 6" narrower than 2nd/3rd gens)

My last set of tires I bought online and had shipped. They had something similar.
