    OK,

For real. Sounds silly, but my lil girl goes through milk like a machine. I'm going to the store 3-4 times a week to buy a gallon here or there and when I drive home, I notice it just bounces around the entire truck flying. I thought about getting the cargo net in the back, but it wont work for me.

What is your trick to keep your 1 gallon of milk from flying about your ride as you come home from the store?

A few times I just hold the gallon on the arm rest and drive with my left hand.

A cow should fit in the bed, then tie it up in the yard upon arrival at the house...no more worries.

Delivery! I'm sure it is available in your area too. Fresher and better milk too. But, they only deliver once a week, so you'd have to figure out how much you need each week.

Either that, or have the company making the jerry can racks make one for your milk containers! :D

LOL. Didn't Macgiver used to say Ducttape fixes everything?

Good point about the hooks, forgot all about those. I usually don't get a sack when I just get a gallon, they just give it to you as it is around here. I will start getting a sack.

When I had the car, there was a lil pocket I would jar the gallon in the trunk. With the truck, take your first turn and the damn jug tumbles across the cab floor just about bustin open.

    Thx.

Buy a case of your favorite beer. Drink the beer while you contemplate if this girl is really a keeper. Once beer is finished, go to store and buy milk. Put the milk, plus any tampons etc. that you might need to purchase in the empty box on the floor.

Ya, I have tried that a few times. Sounds like a silly problem, but it came to surface when I got the truck lol.

When I have a ton of groceries, it's not an issues, but it just happens when I run to the corner store to grab a jug and some snacks, you know.

leave an old icechest strapped in the back. i do this. i'm anal about keeping food at safety temps. all my perishables go into an icebox. it would work perfect for your kid's milk.

3-4 gallons a week? That's rediculous! You should never introduce her to alcohol!

I read a thread awhile ago that suggested using the rail mounted cleats to hold a grocery bag in the box. That way if it dfoes happen to go flying around and busts open, at least it's in the box and not the cab.

4 people in my house..3 of them drink milk, and we do the same thing. 3-4 gallons of milk will be gone in a week, or less.

yeah i drink at least 2 by myself a week. shoprite 2% organic milk. i get it during shopping night and it's in our reuseable bags, nice and tight.

legendary power lifter doyle kenady used to drink two gallons a day.

OP - if it falls/rests on its side on the floor, isn't it sealed?

if not, yet another solid reason to have weathertechs.

Get a plastic bag with your gallon of milk, and hook it on one of your tie downs in the bed. Done.
