Yeah Kartek, Crown, G & J, and custom line shops like them help with hard to find stuff. Also 10mmx1.0 could be found anywhere 1st gen taco banjo bolts are available.

All the ones I found when hunting around were about 2mm too long, at least when comparing them to the one I already had. Made that mistake once on a friends tundra swap. Snapped a banjo bolt in his caliper because it was a hair too long and I didn’t realize it.

First gen banjo bolts need to be clearanced for the flare that newer calipers have at the bottom of the hole as they’re designed for hard lines.

This was something different than that in this instance. It was a whole kit with new calipers, new lines, new banjo bolts, all sold together. They just sent the wrong banjo bolt. Got the correct one from napa and were good to go.

Who sells a Tundra brake kit with banjo bolts? If you’ve got anyone else doing the upgrade you can point them in this direction, take the parts off of a 3rd gen 4runner, or just skipping the soft line fittings altogether like I did.

I couldn't tell you, this was a couple of years ago and was going on a third gen 4runner if that makes a difference.

Weird, they already have hard line fittings - I just removed them from the 97 I bought for my wife and it's exactly like the ones @turbodb (adventure taco) sells

Yeah, who knows. Maybe it was just the preference of the vendor to eliminate the hard lines, sorta like my brake line for my LT kit.

Love the lines I ordered from crown for my front. Only issue is they don’t have 90 degree inverted flare hose ends so had to run an adapter to a an 90 hose end which was fine.

Waiting on my fenders and bedsides from advanced… somehow the shipping company has taken over a month to ship from Cali to Washington so really crossing my fingers they didn’t break anything….

Chances are they are just sitting in some warehouse waiting for the next transfer. Since covid shipping companies could care less, they already got your money and now they have an “excuse” to not really deliver anything on time. You should be fine

Hey guys, greasing uca bushings and this is how the one wants to tighten back down. Not sure if too much grease or what… had it jacked up, greased, hand tightened and dripped it down to torque… how shall I remedy this issue, really don’t want to pull uca  Think a new bushing required?

You could try getting any pressurized grease out by pushing in the zerk bearing.

Lol is it sealed onto the uca? Loosen the bolt back and try to relieve the pressure bend the bushing shoulder next to the uca sleeve.
