When I do some, eh, 'spirited' driving, I notice that the truck seems to hold back until it hits 60 KM/h and then there seems to be a sudden power increase.
I assume this is how they are tuned from the factory ?
Do some of these OBD2 piggy back 'tunes' resolve this, or do I need a full tune/reflash to get full power?

You mean garbage like this? https://www.performancechiptuning.com/stage-2-performance-chip-module-obd2-for-toyota/ Reviews: https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/performancechiptuning.com

So far the only real option is a full tune/reflash. I got the KDMax tune installed by @dave82at and it's been great - able to spin 35" tires off the line on stock gearing.

Head over to either my Feelers thread to find a local person (I don't think anyone from Canada is on there other than @Saeros ). Or, hit up the vFTuner.com forum.

A tune will fix the low end torque issue.

Would you say it's a bad idea to run a 1" spacer with the AAL? From what I can understand, most of the hostility towards spacers/blocks comes from adding it to stock suspension or having 4"+ blocks. I might only have a few hundred pounds while camping. Forget about an entirely new leaf pack - I'm already past that.

Ford sells half a million F-150s each year with 1"+ blocks including the Raptor with its torquey engine. You should be OK

Took the truck to get groceries. It's a straight highway and I put it in 4 wheel drive as I do about once a month just to make sure all is well in the 4x4 department. It notably started pulling to the right. I usually only travel a couple miles and shut it off again. I engaged 4x4 3 times and it continued to pull to the right. Any ideas as to why? I'd rather address this now then in a snowbank lol
