There may be one out already, but wanted to make a thread that shows build progression pics. From when you got the vehicle to now.

also a good opportunity for others to see builds without going through a bunch of different threads! Feel free to ask each other questions! I’ll start!

2013 DCSB. Purchased new. Was supposed to stay stock as I always had other toys. Then, I wheeled it one time and the money pit began.


Once this rear ended of the truck is done I will post another update!

2005 TRD Off-road. Bought used at 125k. I’ll update in about a month when I get my prinsu, sliders and skids installed (all on the way). But this is the build progress as of today. Been a slow (4 year) process

I have SOS full skids on the way, as well as SOS bolt on rock sliders. I wanted to go with SOS so all my armor would match. The front bumper is one of the OG bumpers that Eddie made in his garage some years ago.

 

Bought in October, $4500. 2000 Tacoma 4wd with Trd package. I Bought it with 168,000 and have brought it up to 177,500 after driving it since February.
Day 1-

recovery process- I had to tear it down to remove the left fender apron and core support and replaced all of that. I also had to replace the radiator and ac condenser-

with fender and hood back on-


Did a facelift to upgrade to the 01-04 front end-

i built a steel bumper with lights and winch-

What a bad ass transformation man! That thing is looking good! Find a supercharger for that thing!

Well, super stoked. Finally got my @ARCHIVE garage shock relocation set up.

Found some kings local to me and took them to @AccuTune Offroad and my rear end is dialed now. I’m so stoked.

i changed out the front coil springs as well to match the rear.
The picture is taken on a downhill but I’m stoked with the turnout!

 

Well, it’s been a while, but finally got to do a shake down run yesterday in ocotillo wells.
The truck in the whoops and the bumps is phenomenal.

but this rear travel I have has me speechless.

between the @ARCHIVE shock mounts, @4xinnovations Shackle flip, the @AccuTune Offroad tuned kings this rear end is nuts. The articulation speaks for itself.
Beyond satisfied and can’t wait to see this thing perform in the rocks
