Had this Taco for 75,000+ miles and it's reset before.

Reset button currently works on changing the readout or resetting the trip odometer. Currently I reset "Trip A" every fill-up to track MPG.

I've seen 2 basic methods. Both start with the vehicle off.

    1 push button and hold.
    2 turn key to ACC
    3 watch countdown

The variances are if the readout should be in "Trip A" or "Odometer" or if the key should be turned to "On" but don't start it.

Thats 4 different options, I tried them all. Several times. I even set the odometer to "Trip B".

I'm not getting the countdown. When I push the button the milage numbers come up, I turn the key (to ACC or ON) and after a couple of seconds the screen goes blank and then nothing happens. I've held the button for 10 to about 20 seconds.

Once I tried with the key in ACC and readout at Odometer, did it again with the readout at "Trip A" and that reset the trip to zero.

I don't need to reset it, it's just annoying that the light is on.

I'm not to the point of putting tape over it or trying to disconnect the light.

    That worked.

I don't remember having to scroll before.

It also reset "Trip A" but it's always something

    Thanks:thumbsup:
