Anyone have one of these or a 17” stealie they want to get rid of? I’m going to swap to 17” from 16” wheels to get tall skinny tires. Need a new rim for a spare. I’m in Denver and

Nevermind... those were all FJ Cruiser wheels.

 

There’s quite a few of those on FB marketplace cheap I’ve been looking way too much there lately. What size / tire you going to

I got one. It’s got some rust - it’s my 2013 factory spare steelie. I swapped it out for an aluminum 4Runner rim & it’s been sitting in my garage. I’ll take some pics & post them

 

I’m looking to go 255/80/17…. Was considering 285/75/16, but the more I read the more I see I will need CMC and possibly gears. I want an A/T not M/T tire as it is also my daily. I have a 2-3” lift and SPC UCA’s.

I plan to regear to 4.1 when I get 33s but haven’t found any oem 4 banger gears for sale. I’ll need to get the carrier too. Don’t regear till you know 4 sure. Cmc is standard & id def do that before going 33s

honestly, I don’t think a CMC is worth the effort and the 32’s I had on my 1st gen and now my 2nd gen have been enough clearance. Is 0.5” more clearance really worth it? (CMC and gears aren’t cheap)

LT 255/75r17 KO2s in load range C are about 45lbs each. A lightweight 32 shouldn’t require you to regear, saving you thousands.

Suspension and bumper covers are pending pickup at the moment. Skid plates and tail lights still available.

 

If you pay my gas round trip, I’d shuttle them for you. It would help if you’re not in a hurry and we can do this in the next week or two rather than right now. I’m working on the girlfriends Subaru right now finishing the 60k service.

 

I’m going to be the a-hole here. Are you scheduled (and when) for the hinge replacement?
Have any of them started to crack and/or tear yet?
