What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Installed the TRD intake. Red letters for the engine cover arrive tomorrow. And I know, little to no gains from the intake, I don't care, I just wanted it. I bet I get 5 horse power from the red engine cover letters though.

 

Did the TRD intake include the velocity increase tube?

 

Swapped out the Tiger Soft roll up for the OEM hard Trifold. Just trying something different. All covers have pros and cons.

 

Yes it did. Included the oiled filter also but I am not using it right now. We get terrible sand storms where I live and the oiled filters let in too much. I might use it for long trips to the gulf coast but for now I am running the stock paper filter.

On a side note, How you know you have been through a real sand storm?.......There is sand inside the light bulb in your refrigerator.

 

It worked out. Paid Serra Toyota to do the install. They had no issues. Just cost me $259 bucks

Regarding those magazine attachements, is there one for AR pistols that use Glock 9mm mags. Specifically a Christensen 9mm AR pistol? This one. Asking for a friend.

 

Thanks, I was thinking that one too as it's a little lighter and has a little more hp than the farm boss ms271. I originally looked at Husqvarna blowers, but a lot of reviews said husky quality had dropped. I've been super happy with Stihl. Never let me down.

 

Well my speakers have all been upgraded to the kickers, they do sound good. Now waiting for my System 500 OEM amp and sub. They are backlogged due to COVID I guess but at least they emailed me and told me it’s coming. Got to hear some ZZ Top and Grand Funk Railroad.

 

Lots of Tacoma owners have been happy with the Reference 500 system and the kicker stuff. I've been looking at these from CDT, but they'll require some custom brackets to fit...

by the way, nice can. Just picked up my second Gemtech out of jail. Just a .22, but going to mount it to my GSG-5 (MP5 clone). Just waiting on a barrel.

 

I think if I had a do over I would go with Focal, but at the time I wasn’t planning on getting an amp. But I think this will do.

 

Yeah, I was set on the focal flax series originally. Now I can't make up my mind. I've heard Focals lack mid bass and I think I want to stick with 6x9 for the front doors.
