A naked 1 liter bike. That has to be fun. I don’t need that bike in my life, but I sure would want one. They set up for track suspension? Track specs are way too aggressive for street.

That thing I can tell wants to kill me. Beautiful. Just jacked up my wrist yesterday on the dual sport. Fucker stalled going up a hill and had to catch myself

Hello folks. Looking to increase spring pre-load on my King Shocks soon. Any chance one of you has a nice/safe spring compressor tool that I could use if I brought the shocks to you? Yes... I know lots of people increase preload without using he spring compressor but I prefer to remove tension on the adjusting nut as recommended by King. Would appreciate the help because I'd hate to buy ANOTHER damn tool that just takes up my garage space and gets used once every 10 years. LOL

Yeah, I have one. If you’re willing to bring the shocks off truck I can help you adjust the preload.

this would be my first one after some dirt riding in my past haha. definitely a learning experience but so much fun.

just as I've said before, you are the man! i know the first oil change was done at 600 as recommended, it's got about 2500 on it now, 400 i've put on since I got it. Expect a text coming up soon enough haha...the more I ride it the more I want to ride.

beautiful MT10 by the way. far too much bike for me at the moment...but only for the moment ;)

Haha, thanks she's quite the handfull but I am quite a power whore, no such thing as enough power! And yeah riding is super fun and addicting, the more you do it the better and more comfortable you get and in turn it gets easier to ride becoming second nature and you hardly even need to think about what you are doing at that point freeing up your brain for other things, lol.

No problem just let me know!

haha definitely get that...this is america, so the more power, the better :bikewheelie2:

i assume you'd be capable of doing electrical work too? looking at installing a new headlight, turn signals, and a fender eliminator as well all of which should be plug n play, but as I have virtually no experience with electrical stuff, i'd be much more comfortable having your assistance as well, and of course compensate you for the time. Maybe do it all at once to knock it out alongside the upcoming maintenance.

    Thanks guys!
Now I just need to get off my lazy butt and do it. Wish I’d thought of this a few weeks ago when I did the lower shock bushings. :/

OK so the Turbo LS Tacoma has now started to be completed! Just pulled off my passenger side manifold and am installing the turbo manifold onto the head, then I have to weld up a stainless crossover pipe from the driver to the pass. side manifold. I also have a fairly large intercooler I will mount up front.
Finally had a little time (which I rarely do) to start the build!
I would take pics but my wife took my phone to the apple store to get it fixed, the stupid focus on the camera isnt working properly anymore. But Ill take some pics of it tomorrow to show how its going down after work!
Been a long time coming for the Turbo V8 1st gen! Should haul some serious ass after I am done with it, but there is not a lot of room to work being I am doing this in the smallest truck there is pretty much, lol. I am sure it will provide me with a few issues but thats how it goes when you want to pioneer something like this.

I also had a hell of a time when I put the LS in the truck initially, it sure was challenging but pretty stoked to be the 1st person that I know of anyway to stuff an LS into a 1st gen 5 lug (back in 2012). So I should be the first guy to do a front mount turbo on a swapped Tacoma. I know of that fireball guy on the Youtubes that has one as well but he has a rear mount turbo which tend to be pretty laggy due to that type of inefficient turbo setup, I was also going to do this until I found a manifold that could work.

So let the fun begin, haha!

A couple pics of the turbo setup, gonna need to package it super tight to be able to fit..next up will be the intercooler mounting and associated piping using 3” aluminum tube.

Thanks dude, been a long time coming!!
I've always been wanting to slap a turbo on the V8, now that I found a manifold that will work its on!
Gonna be a fawking rocket! Once its done the only thing thats gonna smoke me are those new Tesla Plaid models (1020hp!) from the factory they will run a low 9 second pass...preposterous!!

still can’t believe you shoehorned that motor in that engine bay…how far back did you have to move the firewall? So wish I had this power in my gutless truck lol

Firewall was only massaged in the appropriate areas, I didnt actually cut it or I would have had a hell of a tie trying to get my climate A/C-Heater to no be deleted because it sits right up against the firewall. That being said I would love it it sat back about 2 more inches due to lack of space up front for all the heat exchangers. My intake elbow was touching the radiator its so tight!

And yep its insanely tight in there. That engine bay isn't very large in a 1st gen, so its always a challenge to package everything, while designing to to be easy to work on because Im always messing with things.
I already modified the core support to where I can unbolt the entire front end and and remove it since that's the only way to get the engine in and out!
