That's what I found too. I'd actually rather see a good replica than the real deal, cause you ain't gonna see the real deal except at a car show maaaaybe once

I have seen one in a showroom at Symbolic Motors in La Jolla Ca. (now Symbolic International)
Location went under/renamed... something about feds and fraud/scandal - Google search, its a great read - here's one
It was in the mid 1990's and this GT40 was white, 427 side oiler, full race stickers and number plate and considered "unstreetable as it idled at 2500 rpm" for the handsome price of $225k.

Mind you, this location in La Jolla is where the uber rich lived and would occasionally drive one of these cars.
These are the cars you read about in fancy coffee table books.
I remember seeing a used Ferrari V-12 engine behind plexiglas.
Asking what car that engine was for: 1963 Ferrari GTO
They were asking $3M for it.

Surgeon at my buddies old work, showed up a couple days a month, drove a black 1961 Ferrari GT 250 California, the Ferris Bueller car. I had to go look at it once. Dude was super cool, drove it every day it didn't rain. I've seen a real GT40 on the street, Magnolia has a few hidden collections and a race shop, sometimes they just don't give a fuck and go rip em around

    I hear ya.

Its super strange: you drive north from Pacific Beach in San Diego as it a bunch of hippies and college kids that don't give 2 F's about their vehicles; then a mile or so north around Birdrock, pride in ownership changes; then on Pearl street - its almost like every other car is a Ferrari or RR or Maybach.

I think a lot of it is, the super rich up here are from tech and have real money and don't need to show off and pretend they have more. Also their hobbies are much bigger. Sure they drive a 2018 Jeep Wrangler...to their 70' yacht in Kirkland (one of my customers). Showing off a supercar is not even on their radar. I've noticed since moving to "the burbs" that I see a lot more showing off. I did a job in Kenmore area a few years ago, dude had a whole garage full of the newest and coolest Ferrari's, but he never goes to the exotics shows cause he keeps it low key.

Yep, why "advertise" if you don't want the rats to come to the cheese.

Anybody have any experience or know any good shops around here to rebuild some fox 2.0 shocks?

What does camping look like this season with all of the fires? They said that forest land is closed east of the cascades… where is that line? Anybody have any good resources because I have been getting mixed info online?

I have removed the shell and still have it available for sale. I also still have the rack, bed mat and bed stiffeners if anyone is interested.

Federal and state land is still open afaik, but you might want to stop and pick up one of these to sing koombayah around. It should run off the onboard 400w inverter no problem. Maybe get 2.

They typically consider the Pacific Crest Trail the official/unofficial imaginary line that determines east and west side. At least that's how fish and feathers does it. It runs right up the central cascade range from Oregon to BC.

What part? A buddy just sold his place in cedar village about 3wks ago, and moved to the 15acres he's had just east of Hayden in the hills for a few years now. They're starting on the shop in a few weeks which will have living space, and temporarily living in that while they build the main house. I'm headed there in a few weekends.

We were up some logging roads outside of Pierce at my dads college friends claim. He has 40 acres that I’ve been going to since he bought it in the early 90’s. Hayden’s awesome, my Grandma grew up there, My parents have a bunch of pictures hanging in the house that my great grandfather took, some of which made there way into National Geographic

Hah, good one! Amazon has some cardboard fire centerpieces. I’ll get one of those for a buddies bachelor party. Easily worth $10.
That makes sense though, appreciate the input.

I only liked your post because I actually don't like it. That's no bueno.

Anyone know if a r154 5spd will bolt up behind a 1GR-FE? Those tranny's are pretty bomber and will handle up to 5-600HP.
