I’ll be up there. I’m going to Potts first and then should be up at meadow knob around 3.

Alrighty sweet. Theres a lotta knobs to keep track of, but I believe thats the camp area right? I'm mostly worried about getting stuck by myself on the way up there since its "not a group ride"

Yeah, it’s the large flat field that’s about 80% of the way to the top.

I agree that it’s good to go with someone. I wouldn’t worry too much though for a couple of reasons. It’s a pretty tame trail and it’s incredibly popular. There’s gonna be a lot of traffic on it this weekend so the chance of you being stranded are pretty slim. I know @OkeyCodyOh is going so you could ask if he has room to tag along with him. Or I can let you know my eta to the trailhead once I’m heading that way and you can roll with me and the two other trucks with me. It’ll take me about 2.5 hours to get from Potts to fpk, trailhead to trailhead.

Wish I could caravan up with you, but we got invited down to Lake Gaston Thursday - Sunday...of course now that I'm mostly through PT/shoulder free and clear post surgery.

As soon as I get my new fender on I'll be ready for wheeling trips.

ok that sounds good, either works. I'll reach out to cody. I'm about an hour further southwester of Potts, so I could also guestimate when you finish there and headup to flagpole to arrive around the time same

no problemo, lake sounds like a good time!

    mo fender, mo problems

You could run up from Switzer Lake as well. Not difficult and should have a water or two. It will take you to Flagpole and a left hand turn at trail end takes you.doqn to Meadow Knob

Sweet, I did read that switzer lake was kind of the medium difficulty way to get up, so thats what I was planning on. Good that its not too bad

I’m fairly confident I could take my wife’s awd kia suv up switzer. I would love to try if I didn’t care about potentially ripping off a plastic bumper.

My wheel and tire falling off? Crunched the fender when it fell. I'm running around with a huge hole from the removed snorkel. New fender is primed. Just gotta coat it and get it on.

I had a long spell away from the daily grind here and probably skipped some dozen(s) of pages back when I was in a sling, typing proposals with one hand...anywho glad you've got the new fender primed, herculiner was a pretty top contender the latest project farm roll on bedliner testing.

Raptor liner is the choice of late. I'm hoping to get them done and on next weekend. Truck will look goofy for a while. Ain't care.
