Sometimes biological doesn’t automatically mean they are good for you. I had a dad that I had to learn this lesson because of.

 

Y'all don't know how fucked up my family is....at least from my prospective.
The one I call my brother called me last week telling my that our step aunt passed away. well not so sad, as she was stealing the uncle's medication and trying to get everything owned willed to her side of the family.
This is only the tip of the iceberg if the family I got adopted into.

Mondays are like a bad pair of underwear , they just creep up on you and really annoy your ass

 

Dad was doing pretty bad and not expected to make it through the night. The family was called to his bedside.
“Is my wife here?” He asked

“Yes darling. I’m here.”

“What about my children? Are they here?”

“Yes Dad. We’re all here.”

“And all my sweet little grandchildren?”

“Yes, they’re here too.”

“And my brothers and sisters?”

“Yes Dad. The whole family is here”

“Then why the hell is the kitchen light on?”

Random…my roses are doing really good this summer. We only had the one week long 100+ heat wave…so far.

 

Regarding the poll, strange thing about my wife and her side of the family is that they never say three simple words.
I asked my wife and her reply was that some things don't need to be said because they're just known. I've always felt this was a little odd. I have even a few exceptionally good friends that I will say, "I love you".
My kids and I exchange it on occasion but not the wife so much, I almost sense a irritation from her if I say it so I just don't.
Sex would be high on my list but that has been not so great the past 15 years but extraordinary the first 5 before that. We're still together married since 1999 so I believe trust is what be keeps us together.

 

My wife told me…
“If I ever get Alzheimer’s, I would rather kill myself than be a burden to you”
I said “That’s the fourth time you told me that in the past two hours”

 

I tell my kid I love him about 20 times a day that number would be way less if he'd get out of my house.

 

Regarding the poll, I believe that it takes more than one ingredient and they are all equally important.

 

I guess that eating ass doesn’t qualify to be on the list?

 

As for the poll, the first thing I look for in a woman is intelligence. Because if she doesn’t have that…I might have a chance.

I believe if you are feeling or thinking something about your special someone, you should tell them. It’s the little things, like knowing you are on their mind that make a difference.
