Mine took about 16 days to come in but when I renewed online there is a print out you can keep with you until the tags come in.

 

Yeah. The paper printout says it is only valid for 15 days.

Time will tell, I guess. The Tacoma is down for the count but I don't want my registration to lapse

 

Don't worry, I still see people driving around without any plates as well as 6-12 month expired temporary tags. Cops aren't enforcing as far as I know, even though they are supposed to be again.

 

I'm not too worried about it. This shit is not driving anywhere until I get a new rear axle under it.

Anyone have any problems with the registration kiosks I see around, like in King Soopers? Need to re-up, but don't like the sound of waiting that long.

 

I dunno if my experience is unique enough to warrant worry. A couple buddies haven't had any issues.

It could be a county issue, it could be a USPS issue, it could be my spiteful roommate throwing them out.

 

I have used them a few times. Even on years I have to do emissions I drive straight from the emissions test to King Soopers and my results are there. The kiosks charge an extra processing fee, but in and out in 5 minutes, sticker in hand.

Edit: Dmvs are open down here in castle rock. I did walk in tags and title beginning of the month no problem.

 

I thought I had renewed mine online but I guess I completely forgot. I found a nice $75 ticket from the meter maid to remind me of that mistake.....

I wouldn't advise people to not worry about it. I'd feel bad when they got a ticket.

Weld CO DMV is open. Had to go in for new vehicle registration.

 

I was 8 at months without registering ha, but I had planned to transfer plates from my old car to the newer. Then I thought about selling, then decided to keep so got it registered haha. Commute 60 miles a day and somehow not pulled over. Luckily for me Elbert County has enough staff so the wait is no more than 10 mins. The Hilux with fees/taxes was a pretty penny to register. Next year should be about a 100 bucks though

 

Shit I bought a car in September and just got my perm plates in May...DMV told me "not to worry about the temp tags" and sent me a letter to carry if I got pulled over. Things may be different now though, that was a couple months ago..

 

Renewed online June 30, stickers arrived in the mail last tuesday July 20.

 

I got my new registration stickers from the kiosk @ king soopers

I got you. Go to the Sheridan location @ 7:20 am. You should be the first in line when it opens at 8. You’ll be out by 8:20 & it’s all contactless.

it’s hard to find & you can miss the road. You’ll need to be on the look out for Mansfield & it’s on your right once you turn east bound
