    You're right, with an exception.

I've been married 10 years, together 20 years. So, need to keep it spicy after 20 years. I asked my wife if she wanted to act out a rape fantasy to keep the marraige spicy. She said, NOO! I said, thats the spirit.

    Besides that exception, you're right.

Camp Michaux was a Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) camp during the Great Depression.
Then it was a POW camp during WW II.

I only ever saw the entrance, and that was in 1971, the summer of which I spent in the Youth Conservation Corps (YCC).
We spent most of the time clearing brush, building fences, painting stuff, etc, on the Gettysburg Battlefield.
But we got treated to the occasional excursion as well.
We were taken on a 3 day hike on the AT from Caledonia to Pine Grove Furnace over the 4th of July weekend.
It's right next to Pine Grove Furnace State Park.
It's also at approximately the midpoint of the Appalachian Trail.

Enjoying a round of drinks at the Owl Bar (Sundance) with my girls. This is where I met my wife 37 years ago.

BTW… this picture is from the filming of Jeremiah Johnson. The Robert Redford movie from 1972. You can see the waterfall in the background that I posted earlier today. Robert Redford owns Sundance Resort and he had the movie filmed nearby. It was fun to see the actual “Bear Claw Cabin” that was used in the movie left in place near the waterfall when we hiked to the waterfall in 1973.

I’m reading a fictional John Sandford novel “Rough Country” in Apple Books on my iPhone. Little did I know that @The Blonde is a central character in the book.

The article doesn’t give enough information about the site itself and it’s purpose. For instance, the entrance sign said “Camp Michaux - wo dich niemand schreien hören kann“ translated as “Camp Michaux - where no one can hear you scream”. I’ll bet Gerry spilled the beans quickly or he got a manicure with a pair of pliers. :D
