    Morning all:
    Found a new ???? project!
Was reading about an arrow spinner, what the heck does anyone need that for, maybe to check for bent shafts! They actually use it to check to see if the broadheads are centered in the arrow, if you put the arrow in the spinner, and spin it, you can see if the broadhead tip is straight or off center which will cause the arrow to fly erratic, makes sense. I often read about tuning broadheads, but always thought it involved indexing them with the fletching and never really saw articles about having to actually bend the broadhead so it's straight until recently.

Good morning everyone. More rain headed to the northeast. Woo hoo!! Today, though, looks to be OK with just a chance of showers this afternoon.

I took the weed eater to the grass in the apiary early yesterday morning. NOTE: Bees do not like to be woken early with loud noise.

A friend gave me an electric fly swatters from Harbor Freight. I spent some time using it to clear away some wasps who have been enjoying the hummingbird feeder. ZZZZzzzaaaaap!! This thing is fun.

No big plans for today for me other than going to dinner with friends.

    Stay safe!

Good morning all. Starting to seal the driveway today. Grass along the sides and in the cracks is trimmer and removed. Today is power washing, blow off with leaf blower and fill in all the cracks. Getting an early start, too hot and humid to be out there after 11am.

    Get yourself one of these...
    Amazon.com: BUG-A-SALT 3.0, Yellow: Health & Personal Care

Be careful, it's probably not too effective against wasps. Great fun hunting for flies though!
Works best with coarse grain salt.

    Morning all:
Wonder if that BUG-A-SALT would be effective on carpenter bees, looks like it would be more fun than using a tennis or badminton racket to thin them out.
Might need to wait until they bring out a heavier caliber though!

Well that’s it. I just can’t handle this miserable weather. Can you believe it rained yesterday. Why it lasted a whole 5 minutes and now my truck windows have spots! Whatever will I do?

Nope still can’t understand why people complain about the weather in a place they’ve lived for more than a year.

We actually got measurable rain yesterday. None of the weather services seem to have the information on how much, but we had water running down the road.

Off to work for my last full day, need to go in Friday for a lunch with my shop guys. Oh, I took Thursday off vacay. So today will be the clean out desk and locker type stuff. Friday will be the final goodbye to the 1906 acres of Aerodrome I have called home for 31 years.

so I woke up and made coffee. Sat down and grabbed the pad. Typed a response and grabbed the coffee. There was a fruit fly in my coffee. How dare he. I was gonna grab the pellet gun but then decided it might have been a little over the top. No bug a salt,,,,,, so a piece of paper had to do.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Gals!

Big time acting chops, Mark! You'll go far for sure! Congrats, @Oldewing1800 !

Late start, and late back home, but we made it, my Senior Lifetime pass works there, and we had a nice relaxing day!

Rex enjoyed the water, more than those pesky white caps. Good boy stayed off leash all day, and only mooched some neighbor attention once.

Not good shelling, and only saw a bizarre jello-mold jellyfish, and I am guessing, a mule deer. (we did attach Rex in case he spotted it). There were two munching, I only got pics of one.

Good morning everyone! Looks like you had a nice trip, Kurt!!

Quiet day for me yesterday - cleaned out the truck and then spent the rest of the day sitting on our back porch reading. Lynn and I are planning on playing 9 holes of golf this morning. Beyond that, who knows? I'm loving retirement.

    Be safe!

Took the Tacoma in for service yesterday, the park-neutral switch is bad, and it's affecting the cruise control. The passenger seat belt has to be replaced.. pre-tensioner is bad and it chewed up the belt. Plus whatever service is needed beyond that. Then the car goes in. I think I heard a wheel bearing the other day, could be the road, new paving isn't what it used to be. Regardless, gotta keep everything up.
New condensate pump for the basement dehumidifier today. They sure don't last like the old ones did, sigh.
On a positive note, the kitchen cabinets project is done. Turned out great! Kudos from wifey, and I got a couple new tools out of it.
Wifey says now the flooring looks a little drab.

    Morning all:
Finished up the string trimming yesterday, noticed the hedges will soon need trimming, WTH, seems like I just did that but it was a year ago!
Got the coal bin filled on Tues., time to clean the coal stove and oil furnace, winters coming!!!!

That's the kind of beach I would enjoy Kurt, not too crowded!
