My first AK was a MAK-90. Bought it for $250 in ‘94. I swapped the thumb hole stock for a regular pistol grip and surplus stock, AWB be damned.

From “I’m gonna try something” to balls deep in another project. Now, do I stain and urethane it, or use Tru-Oil?

Rural King, 9mm $16.99/50 (34@round) today. No limit. Lots of ammo in various calibers. .223 out the ying. Gun racks & cases pretty well stocked. Looks like we're slowly getting back to somewhat normal. Being's I blew thru a few 9's last week re-zeroing the Sig, and playing with others a little, I helped myself to a few boxes. :D

I got to shoot this today as well as a suppressed AR with a binary trigger and suppressed .308 with subsonic ammo, all were impressive.

Galeo, Gallant, or Micro Galil. Anyone have one of those newer Galil clones? My brother swears by them, and he just picked up a couple of Galeo pistols. Been thinking about one myself. I don't have a 5.56 "AK"

Ideas for a scope for a pistol caliber carbine (357/38 16.5" barrel). Something magnified. I also can't use red dots because I have astigmatism.

How about a 3x prism. The new version of the vortex 3x spitfire is pretty compact compared to the older one.

I have a 1x version on that for my AR9. Great little optic. Hmm..3x might be good. Don't think I can reach out much past 125yards or so.

Good to have a spare though.

I got a 4x Primary arms on an AK I have. I'm a big fan of prisms.

Everything I see seems to be for 308 and 556, so wasn't sure if they would work with the pistol calibers.

Wait, the Vortex in on my AR15 not my AR9. Had a brain fart. AR9 is got Troy Battle sights irons.

I got 2 other holosun red dots rolling around the parts bin as "spares" too haha.
Primary arms makes a solid Prism. I have their older 2.5x on my 15-22 and it is a great optic for the price. My AR9 has a holosun with the circle dot. Don't shoot past 50 yards with that thing anyways.
My 2 ar's have a 1-4 vortex ranger and a vortex uh-1 with a 3x magnifier. I am going to eventually get or build another and always wanted a 4x acog as a primary sight but maybe the 3x spitfire will fit the bill for that instead.

Any of you have experience with Leupold's Freedom 1.5-4 scope?

Thinking it may be perfect for my 357 rifle.
