Just an update, parts & materials have been ordered.

When we start machining, I will post some pics.

The oil pans are almost finished. I hope to ship next week.

Thanks coupe. If you ever make a new batch of spacers I am really interested in getting one.

also can you still make shift knobs or battery tie downs custom?

 

I have several battery hold downs. I have a few shift knobs left, but I am not making any new shift knobs.

 

Any spacers left?

 

No spacers left. If I can three (3) people that want them, I will make another run.

I forget if this has already been discussed before, but what is the torque sequence and what is the torque spec?

Edit: I see that the torque sequence and torque spec is linked on page 2, so I should be all set.

 

Anyone else feel the frustration of explaining your excitement over getting an increased capacity oil pan to a significant other? She was perfect until today...

 

I am lucky. My wife is a car person and understands these things.

I am making five (5) of these. Two (2) with baffles & three (3) without baffles. These will come with all hardware and gaskets to install the spacer.

If someone want s to put their name on what of these before they are fininshed PM me.

They should be ready to ship in about three (3) weeks.

I know this may be a long shot, but if we were able to get a group of ppl together, would you ever consider doing a run of baffled oil pans for the non-xr 1GR? I am betting there are lots of guys in the magnuson SC thread that would be all over this.. If not no worries, just saw those beautiful oil pans up above and it got my gears turning. Great work as always sir
