The frame everything attaches to behind the,"dash," is the same till '12 I believe. It'll bolt right in. Gotta remove the console tho and it's maybe 10 bolts total. Console, dash, etc.

There's nothing behind the panel, you could trim a hole and secure it without buying a different year panel.

You could, but there's no other surface on that panel that will put the new switches on the same plane as the lighter and power outlet. That was why I bought a new lower dash trim.

I could cut a hole as he said, but I definitely like your idea. Where’d you get the newer panel?

Camelback Toyota. They were a vendor here. Don't know what happened to them though.

I couldn’t get the cigarette lighter socket out without taking out the trim and other dash parts so I just ran it behind the little tray under the ignition for now.

@StewartAdamC Here's what I did. You can kinda see the wire on the right but barely. When I had the radio out I fed the wire behind to the left and passed it behind the coin tray to the column. I suspect my tilt wheel was moved recently which is why the wire is on the side, I just need to take a zip tie and poke it back up top. Then just used a small dot of Velcro to secure it. Zero problems being able to talk with this location and it is much easier than feeding it all the way up the door frame/A pillar.

Pardon the filth..truck usually gets a full detail in May and it has been at the dealer since the end of April until this Monday..

Duly noted. Honestly I have my cords plugged in 24/7 (except for this picture) so I never even thought to worry about it getting dirty

Might be something I do later on. $125 seems expensive just to add some USB ports/blanks. But thanks for the link, definitely will keep it in mind
