1 car garage & Taco?

I’ve have had a deep one car garage that the taco fit in easily, I have had a shallow two car garage that left the taco an inch on either end. The width of these trucks isn’t much of an issue, it’s the length so whether or not it’s a one car or two car is much less relevant than the depth of the garage and that’s nowhere near standardized in the slightest.

 

I fit a 16 ft deep v, my truck, a couch, two huge tables for work bench tons of miscellaneous crap in my 2 stall garage. If I needed to, I could fit 3 in there without the miscellaneous crap.

 

Came to the thread to say the same thing. Now I'm gone.

 

What’s funny is my house was built in ‘56 when cars were (for the most part) huge, yet even without the workbenches in my garage, a Taco would have a hard time fitting. Expanding my garage to make it a three car is on the agenda, though even when that happens my Taco will still live outside. My garage is where my MC’s and VW’s live.

 

It's not really a "ballpark" thing. It's pretty binary.... Either it fits or it doesn't. We don't have an answer for you.

Yeah in an emergency I can scoot the truck in there if need be.

 

My Taco just fits in my single garage with trailer hitch. I have to remove the trailer hitch to fit in my sons double garage. (double cab, short box)

 

The answer we can all agree on is 'maybe'.

Other than the infield bases and pitchers mound distances even ballparks vary in size.

 

I dated a girl once, and her taco was more of a penis parking deck than a 1 car garage..

 

2 car garage has wife's Prius and my Honda Goldwing. I'd have to choose between keeping one of the cars or the bike outside. Bike isn't an option, wife's car in the driveway isn't an option...if I want to live.

 

I get that, my motorcycles take-up one-half of my garage. I actually had a 12x15 shed built not long after I bought my house with the thought that the motorcycles would live out there. That never happened; too much of a hassle getting them in and out and through the gate.

 

I have 2 garages
my taco is 212.3 ( 17.691 feet )inches long.

1-- 20 x20 taco fits in with only 2.4 feet to play but fits
2- 30 x 30 I can drive in and almost with difficulty turning around and come out lol.

 

I always thought the basic 2 car garage was 24x24. Then you start getting into 2 car long or 2 car wide dimensions.

 

There is never any right size for a garage as we tend to buy more toys to fill em and then you need them bigger and wider lol.

 

Around here a standard two car garage is 20x20. At the same time if someone tells you it's a standard two car garage it could be anything lol. So it is basically meaningless.
