...yeah about those...

 

Hehehe...they've been washed a few times thanks to mother nature! Light degreasing this afternoon and I'll be rid of them for good!

 

I used a long fishtank air hose when troubleshooting brakes on a Honda once. Just run the hose from bleeder valve all the way to the reservoir so you don't waste fluid trying to chase air bubbles. Turned out to be a poorly repaired abs wire making the light come on intermittently. Glad I didn't waste gallons of fluid figuring that out.

 

As per usual, this is snowballing and now I'm looking at putting 4runner brakes up front as well as a sequoia master cylinder.

 

Would only make since for the pending 37s

 

Would the larger calipers for the 338mm rotors get that banjo closer or further to where it hit the LT kit?

 

I haven't a clue. If I were to go down this path, the brakes would take priority and then I do what's necessary to not lose braking function, i.e. limit steering, cut away tabs on the LCA, etc.

 

might as well go 40s. if we push him enough, he will do it some day

 

Definitely not 40s but 37s are never off the table. I would just need to beef up braking and steering first.

 

We push him to do toob dawrs, and he won't.

 

The half doors are a pretty good middle ground though, and look good.

 

He HAS a tubing cutter now. He can make half doors out of tubing!

 

Someone just has to build him some and give them as a gift so he feels obligated to use them.
