Most of their stuff seems to be pretty good I think. The industrial purple managed to give me contact dermatitis after it melted a glove while I was cleaning a trans. My hand were peeling for months.

    But look at those results

I wish I was only paying 700 bucks for tires. The Coopers I'm looking at are nearly $300 each and I need 5. Not looking forward to that bill.

they'd be another 200 bucks if i was not getting rebate money back from my wildpeaks shitting out at 30k. IMO shit sucks for 30 in tires but w.e. Best of luck with that bill in the future

ya I had to fork over $1100 for 4 STMaxx last time. Probably only put 27k on the first set, but bad alignment killed those off.

I buy tires in late winter early spring but not sure how often the sale happens. They also do discounts on specific brands throughout the year so I would check periodically.

The owner doesn't want us fabricating as much as we do, he'd rather buy all the components pre-made and just have us assemble. The shop foreman/general manager and I disagree with him because we both come from machining/fabrication backgrounds and understand its cheaper in the long run if we do those steps in house. So as soon as the old man retires we will for sure be getting a water jet to do all our own frames and brackets and stuff so we only have to farm out powder coating

That's an interesting read tho, I was unaware of the issues with using a plasma cutter with aluminum

Thanks for the heads up, I'll check with them periodically .. thankfully 31s are cheaper than 33s so it's not as bad for me price wise compared to people like @eon_blue

STMaxx are redonk expensive too, you can get a decent set of 33s for under a grand pretty easily. Just in 255/85r16 you're pretty limited, but in 285s there are a lot more choices for less money

Find a friend if you're getting nice tires, was able to score my 4 for some $900 mounted.

The Toyo I got was a $265 tire; I got for $190 total (170ish before tax).

Got it mounted and balanced free.

A coworker of mine just got back from a week long 'vacation' in Sinaloa, Mexico

who the fuck goes to Sinaloa for vacation these days lol. According to her they had to keep the lights off from midnight to sunrise and had to be escorted to/from the town to avoid run ins with any cartel operations.

Just watched Sicario 1 & 2 (Steph never saw part 2, I've seen both) two nights ago.

She said just what you said "who the fuck goes to Mexico for vacation these days"

yeah I've even heard of some shady shit going on outside of resort areas too which is usually considered safe.

But I mean Sinaloa of all places, everyone knows that's like the heartland of cartel activity. Apparently the surfing is really good near there though and her and her bf met there at some surf competition 20 years ago.

That wouldn't be enough to convince me to do it, no way lol.
