To be honest, just about anything that sounds like I could enjoy or be good at. Not necessarily something in particular.

I know it sounds very "broad", but luckily I still have a job, even though it is not very enjoyable anymore, so I'm kind of just looking and hoping that I come across something "good" for me.

    What's your background?

I've been working on cars forever and started looking at "field service tech" jobs and was contacted by the company to apply, so they saw me first which was a plus.

Speaking of job hunting, the sales rep at the supply house we use for low voltage/av shit gave me a good recommendation to the branch up in Woburn, im already getting emails asking to set up interviews. I totally get wanting to find something on your own accord, but I've found out it's basically 100% who you know and not what (and I will happily take a handout if it means employment when im coming from out of state). Food for thought

Did customer service type stuff for a long time, then moved into what my current job calls "order management associate", which is basically work directly with factories that we purchase from, place orders, make sure they ship on time, get updates, that sort of stuff.

But to be honest, and as long as places are willing to hire with no experience and train, I'm up to do anything.

I have no experience in the job I'm starting next week but my mechanical background and the fact that I have been at the same place for a long time helped me get the position.

At least if you look and find out where you are is the best overall at the time, you'll know.

I could go make more actual money elsewhere but I wouldn't get the time off or help with my insurance.

Maybe, pulled that picture from the internet. The gearboxes they work on are used for ski lifts, oil rigs, flour mills (think cereal), tram systems. Different types and sizes for many different industries.

I figured it was the "blow over" from the fires out west. Last week some of the area got it too, but it was a lot worse this week than last.

If this water keeps up in winter it's going to be crazy!

I'm hoping most of it comes now. I like some good snow for skiing, but this would have been like 20 feet of snow over the last month, that's too many feet of snow.

I'm part of a volunteer group that helps maintain the Rails to Trails system in my area. We've been constantly repairing washout damage. We've been getting quite the workouts shoveling stone dust. Just made it back last evening before the sky opened.

I just have gravel driveways, but decent wash out on both last night...for the 5th time this summer.

Bought a york rake for the tractor last year, its most likely paid for itself at this point.
