I’ve got a 2017 4wd trd off road and got snagged on a rock. I don’t full understand what part of the differential this is but the rock snagged the edge and separated it. It spins with the driveshaft so I didn’t notice it tel 3 days later. Am I able to bend it back someway? Any ideas on relatively quick fix without replacing the differential or info on this part of the differential? Any info and or ideas appreciated.

Just bend it back. It is there to protect the seals. It is just a shield
