I read in a maggy post that another SC user had the same error. Maggy knows about it and was present in their CARB Cert. Hope they will actually use the .vft SW and fix the nuisance issues. BTW I run a Hayden trans cooler along with the oem tow cooler and my pinned tow temp sub 190. City 160.

I haven’t purchased the 3.5 blower yet, I’m on the fence. But I really loved the one in my 4.0, the loud sound of the whine was worth it alone. I hear this one is a lot quieter though

It is too quiet... Like radio off, AC off, windows rolled down just to hear SOMETHING!

Oh I see. Sounds like there’s still some kinks to work out but it’s promising.
Yeah the whine is addicting … especially after a better intake + smaller pulley. It straight sings.

That's one thing I'll actually respectfully disagree with, with ECT on @ WOT I think the sound is very noticeable and enjoyable. Maybe it's cause I didn't have a blower on my 1st gen though.

It definitely doesn't sound as good as the OG Super Werty though. Now that's some whine... He was also doing 0-60 in 4 seconds lol.

Maybe the guys that are hearing the good wine don't have stock intakes? Idk. My truck is bone stock (engine wise) I just added the Maggie. I have to turn off everything that makes noise to really hear it. I also have a manual so I can keep it in gear and do what I want. I can def make it wine, it just isn't as loud as I hoped. Def not a deal breaker...I still really like the unit.

I looked all over their site. Can't find the product listed, the only cogs they show are for the nose/belt drive. I think it would be a worthwhile upgrade as long as you don't have to remove the whole S/C to change out the cogs. Which is probably required...lol. It would make me pass on that simply because it doesn't add power, only noise...

I doubt it will. I believe those are for the cars/kits that use a jack shaft to drive the supercharger.

I had a minor overflow issue on mine as well, but I used the turkey baster technique and pulled it down to the more appropriate level. No issues since.

So today I had the opportunity to drive my truck for much longer distance. I pulled into a trailer dealer (shopping for one) and let my truck on idle while I browsed. As I walked back to my truck I noticed a rattle sound. Hard to describe but wasn’t a normal sound. I turned it off then turned it back on. Let it idle a few sec and it noise comes back. The sound went away after revving it.

As soon as I got home I popped the hood and let it idle for a while, but the noise didn’t return. I’m in central Texas and it was a very hot day mid 90s idk if temp. Had anything to do with it but truck temp was fine.

    Has anyone had this noise?

Is the sound you're hearing maybe the direct injector cleaning cycle that people claim is very loud?

Hey guys, for those who have installed the supercharger. I'm all done except for the tune. Each time I try flashing with the tune Magnuson gave me the tune fails. I'm able to switch back to an OV tune successfully. But, unable to tune with Magnuson tune. Any tips be for I have to ride the bus to work tomorrow? Ive tried disconnecting the battery then restarting, but nothing seems to work.

Verify the ecu ID is correct

    Reset dtc
    Cycle ignition

sometimes you may have to do it a few times but it’ll eventually take. Also worth a restart of computer.

Are you on the latest version of the ov software? I had that issue and once I updated the software I could flash mine.
