Yeah, HIGHLY unlikely anyone is going to find EXACTLY what they want on a lot. That said, they might have more/quicker sway. How one spends their money is their prerogative but you'd get essentially same lift height by throwing taller tires on it for much less than having the dealer put on the "lift kit".

All very true, probably better than my plan of the lift kit then new tires are a winter or two.

If you're willing to travel a bit give Greentree Toyota in CT a call. At the moment they don't have any Tacoma's listed but when I bought mine they had a surprising amount of higher spec'd trims. They're a small dealership but I guess their new car buyer is a Tacoma guy and the trucks they bring in reflect that. I'm also in New England (Maine), it was worth the drive.

@_kb_ Thanks, I'll give them a call later. About three hours away from me and it will be convincing my dad to drive there with me, as he is deadset on coming along of doing his best George Costanza walkout method haha

Hah good luck! I'll admit I didn't try to negotiate from MSRP at all. They had exactly what I was looking for coming in, nobody had a deposit on it, it was the only one within 300 miles, and they weren't marking it up. They did a remote appraisal of my trade-in (2019 Tacoma) and gave me a very fair amount for it. Everything else was done by email. I'm sure they knew I wasn't going to walk out after driving 4 hours one-way.

New here so this is my first post. Purchased my Tacoma 13 July, delivery is supposed to be tomorrow.
2021 TRD Off Road DCSB Army Green.
    Vehicle Base: $37,530.
    Packages and Accessories: $3290.
    Delivery: $1175.
    Total: $41,995.
    Location: Indiana
    Add-ons:
Tonneau Cover, Tech Package, All weather mats and sill protectors, TRD pro exhaust, door edge guards, mudguards, oval tube steps, d-rings.

I didn’t the exact options I wanted but it was close enough. I got $12k in equity off my trade so it was hard to pass up.

Thanks! I got it at Bob Rohrman Toyota in Lafayette. I’ve purchased three new Toyota’s from them the past couple of years and it has always been a pleasant experience. I recommend them to all my friends and coworkers.

What reasoning? Me offering a Manual Truck as they are already very hard to find even before the pandemic.

'21 Limited picking it up tomorrow. No Nightshade. $47K. Lots of goodies in it including leather, console safe, mud flaps. locking tailgate, tonneau cover, etc. I am having 18X9 METHOD MR301 Race wheels and LT265/60R-18 BFGOODRICH ALL-TERRAIN T/A KO2 E tires put on it Friday. I will be doing lots of aftermarket work on it for the next several months and years.

I read your post as though you had a brand new truck that you were then open for offers on. Guess I was more looking to verify that than anything.

No worries man, I work at a dealer and dont promote other stuff. Usually when I get a rare piece only (Manuals or Pro's) I like to offer it here.

Geez, I probably couldn't afford to buy at today's prices. I bought my 2020 back in December 2019 when the lots were full of Tacoma's. My small town dealer had 10-12 on the lot and now their lot looks like a used car dealership.

No plans to sell but its good to no my Truck is worth more after 20 months ownership than what I paid for it.

I put my name on an OR that I wanted last week. It’s in F status(I think that’s correct) which means it hasn’t hit port yet??
When it changes to A status (allocated) it’s heading for the dealership. When the status change happens, they call me and I can then put a down payment on it to lock it in. Of course they’re all MSRP. Too much demand here to wheel and deal. At least it isn’t over MSRP.
My concern is someone higher in the food chain (sales manager etc.) sliding the rug out from under me. The sales guy I’m talking with seems fairly new. Any ideas on how to assure my name stays #1 in the pecking list? I already offered a large down, but they refused that. They said they were unable to work it like that in its current status.
By the by, I’ll be selling my 2007 Off Road access cab. Manual, newer Fuel wheels, Extang tonneau, 122k miles, clean title. Portland, OR area.
