I will say, if you're anything like me.........get what you want to start with(especially with a higher cost build). I learned after replacing stuff to just hold off and buy what I want when I can afford it

Well i agree with you but the reviews for the plastic one are just as good as the aluminum one. The aluminum one is about a 3rd of the price i paid for the whole rife build

Oh, I thought you meant for your expensive build later. Yeah, for a budget......go plastic :D Plus, it'll give you an idea of what you like/dislike.

I did that with my first. I used Anderson lower, PSA upper, cheap optics, mil-spec trigger, grip, etc. The only part I haven't gone away from is Magpul PMAG's. I've always bought them.

Minimalist to me means that you would run iron sights as your primary sighting system. My Ruger is my lightweight AR, especially with 20 round magazines.

My Ruger setup, only I run 20 round Colt mags through it now and it's super nimble and lightweight. My Larue is a pig compared to this rifle.

Simple is good! Each one of my ARs has a special purpose. Run and gun, my lightweight Ruger. Shooting long range precision shots, my Larue.

I’m wanting one of those two for my Colt build. When I got my truck I moved funds away from guns. Lol

I have them on both of my ARs as I tried out 6 or 7 different stocks before I settle on this one. Gives me the perfect, most natural sight picture and cheek weld. Jeannie likes her Magpul CTR stock.
