I used KC cyclone lights. They’re pretty bright. For the fronts, my friend made an L bracket and we used them on the bumper. For the middle ones, we used the existing holes that side steps would use. for the rear, we used the bracket that holds the spare tire. had to drill a hole to use them

I forgot to add, with the new job (starting August 2nd) I'll be getting paid more and I have Saturdays and Sundays off.
With the extra income I can finally do the mods that I've been planning.

Installed a larger secondary fire extinguisher on a quick release mount.

and replaced the Amazon emergency light bar I modified as chase lights 2 years ago. Went with a simpler design using trailer lights. Gives off some old school/race truck/utility truck vibes. One amber is set to it's own switch and the other two are connected to a strobe module...because safety!

Love those quick release mounts! Mine have actually faded from UV damage so they are bronze now ... but they perfectly match my SCS F5 wheels so I can't complain.

How are you liking it? I just ordered the x700 front and rear with gps and obd2. I need it to be easy but also work well while parked and show speed/location.

    Replaced my valve cover gasket.
Makes it a little harder when you need a step stool because the truck is lifted 3" and has 31's.

I love these stories. This is exactly why I sold my 2016 with 25k miles and bought another 2nd gen with 140k miles. I never felt confident that my 2016 V6 AT would make it, trouble free, to 100k miles (warranty out at 5 years) and certainly not to 250k miles. My 2012 with 140k miles runs, rides and drives as if it has 70k miles. It was a hard decision to make as I paid off my awesome looking 2016 Blazing Blue Pearl access Sport in 2 years. Several things really led to that decision: the quirky transmission after 3 reprogramming visits, the reports of some under 100k mile rear main seal leaks, the poor performance of the factory tuned Atkinson cycle 3.5 engine, several reports of timing cover oil leaks under 100k miles, the fact that I had several warranty issues the first 6 months, and the fact that it had been dealt 3 recalls including frame perforation inspection. When the market values exceeded what I paid for it new the time came and I sold it for exactly what I paid 5.5 years ago. So I put $16k in the bank and have, what I hope to be, a 2nd gen that will also cross the 250k mile mark.

Yours should definitely hang on till 250k if you take care of it and maintain things regularly. These trucks are awesome as far as reliability goes! They dont skip a beat. Glad to hear you got back into another second gen. Is yours a v6? Mine is a 4 banger, but i feel like theyre both equally reliable
