    Hahahaha! The difference is crazy.

Yeah. It should feel the same as previous. Give it a day or two of driving, or more bleeding.

If it's just "funny", let it burp itself over 50 odd miles. It's all good

It feels like I have all my clutch but it’s only in the first 25% of the pedal (to the floor). I just drove up some hilly ass streets to knock the bubbles around but I think it’s just a matter of more pedal pumping.

Anyone in SoCal able to help me with deleting my accumulator next week? Free all week pretty much. Figured it was worth a shot here. Thanks!

So I ordered the flexible stainless line referenced in the op.... does anyone have a reference for the banjo bolt that it calls for? The hose looks like it's just a hose by itself.

Edit..... or atleast tell me or point to where I can find the sizes of the fittings I would need.

Nah. Hydraulic clutches are great. The ADM is easy and free if doing the dremel mod.

The only advantage of a cable is that we could set the engage point where we liked, but it will still drift with temperature and wear. That could have been solved with a proper adjustment on the master cylinder.

Cable clutches aren't always perfect right out of the box either, I remember on my 02 Mustang GT I replaced the stupid factory self adjuster doohickey with a new cable, quadrant and firewall adjuster so I could set it where I wanted it, not whatever random engagement point the self adjuster decided it wanted that week.

Opinon. I have one also. This is my first hydro clutch. All previous were cable. All previous had better feel (including a Dodge Omni). Only 1 failure. $25 and 10 minutes later, fixed.

Toyota pairing a fancy clutch with throttle lag makes the truck just tolerable to drive.

I have had both cable and hydraulic clutched cars and bikes. There is nothing especially fancy about a hydraulic system.

IMO, clutch feel is not the fault of the system but of the friction material used. The ADM adds a bit more clutch feel along with a lot more consistency through direct, predictable engagement.

You are correct though. The combo of the accumulator and shitty tune makes for a driving experience that can be odd. Fixing both of those brings back the feeling of other MTs.

If you'd let go of "being right" vs the shifter soup nazi, you would be enjoying the trifecta of driving enjoyment right now.

    Touche!

But, I am not displeased with the stocker. I think I have a reason though. Check it out:

    From @7r41lbr34k3r 's thread:
    20210721_160935.jpg

My setup, which doesn't even use an O ring on the collar, so it is even lower, relatively:
    IMG_20200413_175306.jpg

My original request was for Rick to go as low was he felt comfortable. I had a section view of his model somewhere but can't find it.

In essence, I have a short shifter already.

    Hahahaha!

I don't get too twisted about what is on other's stuff. Just that the setup on mine might be way I'm not feeling the Core is worth the pain and suffering?

What pain and suffering? It's all in your head man lol.

I ordered the damn thing when it became avail on the website and got it a few days later. No, I didn't try and customize the setup at time of purchase, and yeah Chris is "passionate" about it.
Turns out it's great just the way it is, well, after I added the isolation pads to reduce noise lol.

    YMMV

I'm glad that you like it.

I'm in a happy spot also.

Maybe TFL will do an unboxing and review? :cookiemonster:

Naw I get it man, you like where you're at with the stock setup.
You do tend to put core on blast at times and preach about how you wouldn't buy from them because of Chris' attitude. It's not about the product, but rather some principle or moral or something you're locked on to lol.

Anyway, yeah how bout those TFL guys? New Bronco in their stable.
They'll probably be one of the first with a 22 Tundra too. I'll be sure and link the highlights for ya ;)

Whoa, bro. You sure are reading a lot into what I'm saying.

I've done a short throw shifter, adjustable nonetheless, on a previous car. It was great. I just don't feel the need here.

Easy enough to scroll right on by embedded vids. I have only a passing interest in the Bronco and zero in the Tundra. But, knock yourself out. :D
