Gonna be kind of a toy...so..am i able to get the TRD SC CAI and exhaust put on right from the dealer when i get it?

Im really digging the vids with that set up looks really fun and not bad on MPG

....some say you cant use CAI with the SC is that true or just with earlier models?.... thanks

IIRC the dealership won't put the CAI on the SC for you cause of the TRD disclaimers but it's doable.

I had the CAI on it when the dealer installed the S/C- they didn't say a word about it.

Hmm starnge i just got off the phone with TRD...of course it wasnt a real mechanic tech guy, just a customer service rep....But they contacted the nessacery people and told me that with the SC and Exhaust you can NOT also use the Cold Air Intake..dut to the exsessive oxygen mixture...im not a mechanic but i guess it makes sense?

No issues here for 3 years with TRD CAI, Supercharger, and exhaust- all together (the dealer installed the S/C with the CAI and TRD exhaust already on it at the time).

it's fine running a intake with the s/c, i'd say majority of people do.

And you were worried about it why??

That is the technical cover their ass disclaimer. Lots of folks do it with no issues.

well the info came straight from TRD them selves. My friend that im buying the truck from checked also and confirmed this....Might even be a extra computer flash or something (in the tech department im not sure) but it is deff something extra needed to run the SC on a 2011

Im just giving you guys some info so if anyone with a 2011 dont have to go through the hoops i went threw to find a correct answer.

the number i used for TRD was 800-688-5912
