The pax tax planel or the OEM one? I hated the OEM one. I thought it was uncomfortable on the knees. You couldn't sit anything on the tailgate to work forget about drink. The flat is nice. Though the pax rax panel is hard too.

But for real, the designer of the OEM tail gate needs a Wack on the head. I have spilled so many drinks.

Any such beast as a replacement for that top rail? The weight of the metal one piece seems an issue. Either a separate Top Rail that fits nicely with After Market or a One Piece Light weight.

The Pax Rax panel fixed it for me. I can work on it, sit my drink down and it won't fall over. I even used my Coleman stove on it.
