I did, and now you see what I'm doing. ;)

So yeah, still in the market. I'd really like to put some '08 Audi A4 seats in, but I have no idea if they make manual versions of those. Have been considering just going down to several dealerships (Audi, VW, Toyota, maybe Subaru and Honda) and saying, "show me all the coupes/cars you have with seats that fold forward and that I can buy from the parts department."

Oh did you not like whatever it was that you bought?

Just go to a junk yard and sit in anything and buy it for a 100 bucks.

Can anyone help me identify a whine- it sounds like running your finger over a wine glass rim. It’s only between 62-70 mph which is generally 5th gear, and it doesn’t correlate with pushing on the accelerator or taking the trans out of gear

Never even heard of these. Will look into them.

Yeah, didn't end up liking them, and even after the ordeal that was getting them installed (and trying to convince myself that I should like them), I realized that I sit in them so much of the time that they need to be really comfy. Anyway, I wrote it up, obviously. Will get it posted up soon. Hopefully will help someone else.

And as for junkyard - I considered that, but I really want something that doesn't already have thousands of miles on it. I guess maybe I could find seats from a really new car? Not m(any?) junkyards around here, so I haven't been to one (ever).

$10 was a bit of an understatement. You can price stuff as you wish. Just my opinion.

I do however have a very good idea of all the cost, time ect that goes into such things.

Finally got my new front end situated. Fab tech spindles and v6 coils made the front end sit nicely! Gonna do an add a leaf tomorrow to level it out a bit.

Finally got my new tailgate back from paint. And had a buddy fab up a single tire swingout for the Trail Gear bumper. Just ordered a second 4xinnovations hinge so we’ll make a second swing for a single NATO can, and mount the chainsaw for easy grabbin when I take it with.
I’m working on a sleep platform for the bed, and making my own Ez Topper Lift canopy tent extension unit since I’m a bit over 5’… lol.

This is great. I didn't even realize it was possible. Do the Okole bottom covers swap over with the bottom cushion or are they side specific?
