    Yeah.
Is that sitting on both the cap and the cab rack? Hard to tell. Interesting setup, I love those SmartCaps.

I mounted the tent with 3” risers off the 80/20 crossbars on the smartcap so it can clear the rod holder. The Riversmith rod holder is mounted the truck cab crossbars up front.

For both the tent and rod holder I have supporting rubber pads points to independently allow them a 3rd support position to rest on, neither is hard mounted to both the cap and cab to allow for proper flex between.

Those thumb screws are going to make it really easy to jack your tent if you leave it on in the wrong neighborhood.

don’t need to use the thumb screws… they also come with torque screws options. Very modular :)

Unsure if this has been covered already…
How to stop kukenam 3 (or all the others just like it) from leaking?
Rain appears to puddle on the rain fly above the aluminum bows, sags then contacts the tent roof producing leaks. Is there a fix?
    Thanks in advance…

I saw somewhere that a pool noodle will fix this in pop up canopies. I bet the same would work here.

Finally got around to mounting the Thule Hideaway awning to the t-slots on the rod holder... using these 23Zero brackets. Worked out really well.
