Yes it will. And it takes all of the guess work out of bending once you dial in the software to the bender and dies.

That's what I did. I bought new ones actually. I bought two OEM boot kits so I could have OEM outer boots and while I was at it, bought new dust shields too. The p/n is 4133604010 for the dust shield and 0442804010 for an OEM boot kit. Qty. 1 is enough to service one axle, inner and outer joints. So I bought qty. 2 and sold off the inner boots/grease/clamps for someone who wanted to just reboot their torn inner.

I used a 2.5" hole saw to cut a hole in a 4x4 and used that to evenly tap the dust shield on. I had to apply uniform pressure, hence the need for a 4x4. Just trying to tap it on with a punch wasn't working.

Awesome. I’m going to try to salvage the ones from my old CVs because I’m tired of waiting for parts haha. Everything has arrived except the UCA gussets, so fuck it I’m getting my truck put back together this weekend. Hopefully I won’t need any spacers for the UCAs until the gussets come in.

When you put the dust shields on, maybe add some blue locktite or something? One of mine came loose from its little pressed-in home and gnawed on my seal a little bit making it leak a tad now

    Whole lotta stuff
If it’s loose, it’s time for a new seal and dust shield. From messing with the dust shields on my old OEM CVs, there’s no way it should have come loose. They were a pain to get on and off.

Good looking out. Maybe a couple tack welds would work? Or full send and weld the cv straight to the diff? :bikewhoops:

I don’t even run those stupid things, they do nothing but allow mud and dirt to get packed into the seal

good, I don’t want to touch these CVs again haha I usually don’t have much problem getting them out of the diff but damn tonight was something different. They didn’t want to pop out for shit. They were jelly of what was replacing them I guess

I bought a 3’ prybar recently just for popping out axles and man, it sure does make it easy.

I have a similar one that usually pops them right out. Rotate, pry, rotate until the circlip positions correctly, but good lord this one did not want to cooperate. Ended up dropping the skids and beating one out with a sledge and prybar. I was hitting and prying so much it popped the tulip out and broke the boot off so just the housing and stub remained. Worked out good since I wanted a trail “plug”

I was only able to peer inside for a GE or two while on my way to M.E. classes to study engineering with kids who didn't know which end of a screwdriver to hold. Looking back I should've done communications, as I dont use much of what I learned in school anyways hahah
